Is District of Columbia a compact state for nursing? Washington D.C. is not a Compact State

The District of Columbia is not yet part of the Nurse Licensure Compact, the multi-state agreement sponsored by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN). Nurses with a compact state license will still need to apply for DC nurse licensure by endorsement.
